Mahaeschol – this was a previous scholarship platform for Maharashtra candidates. Recently the Government of Maharashtra has closed this website and started a new online portal for scholarship applications. The new website will help you to fill up the applications forms in an easy way. As per the Government of Maharashtra instructions, the website has closed in August 2017. The new website has named Mahadbt.gov.in.

Mahadbt is a new scholarship platform from which candidates will be able to apply for new schemes by the Maharashtra government. We have also covered the perfect ways to register on Mahadbt and also we have covered about what is the Medicity platform.

Mahaeschol is not opening anymore

Please note this change that Maharashtra government has changed the previous mahaeschol to the new mahadbt.Gov.In platform.  so if you want to apply for new Maharashtra government schemes you need to login to the new maha dbt platform.

Eligibility criteria for scholarship form

Scholarship criteria are different for every caste category and also depend upon the domicile certificate of the candidate.  please go through the following cost categories which are eligible for the scholarship schemes.

SC – Schedule Caste

ST – Schedule Tribes

NT – Nomadic Tribes

SBC – Special Backward Class

OBC – Other Backward Class

All the above mentioned Aakash categories which are eligible to receive the scholarship on specific schemes.  to apply for the new Maharashtra government schemes you might need the following certificates.

How To Register On The New MahaDBT.gov.in

As we know the Maharashtra government has changed the previous platform,  candidates might face some problems while registering on the new platform. We have uploaded a video on YouTube by which you will be able to know about how to register on the new platform.  Just follow the instructions and also go through the article and you will be able to register on the new platform so easily.

  1. Applicants can visit at Maha DBT Portal mahadbt.gov.in.
  2. Now click on “New registration” tab.
  3. You can see two options, choose one option to register.
  4. The registration form will be open on your screen.
